OK, that last part about the waterslides and beer fountain was a lie, but this is a really fun environment to work in just the same. After work we often hang out to fire up the Nintendo Wii or play darts. We're collaborative, we're funny, we eat lots of cookies and always feel guilty about not working out afterward, we have a lot of talent and we want to continue to produce some of the best web, print and motion graphics pieces in the industry.

PHP / HTML / CSS PROGRAMMER

We need a PHP / HTML / CSS programmer. If you're the right person, here are the criteria:

• You have experience at an interactive shop or as part of an internal programming team at a big company
• You're fun and easy-going but driven and willing to go the extra mile on a job
• Your knowledge of building sites in XHTML and CSS transcends mere syntactical understanding
• You know your way around one or two of the AJAX frameworks (e.g. jQuery, MooTools) and can write custom Javascript functions
• You have plenty of experience working in PHP, building database-driven websites (using MySQL)
• You've done some CMS integration work, with Wordpress, Expression Engine or Drupal
• If you don't already troll the halls of CSS Vault and read blogs like A List Apart and Simplebits, you should
• ActionScript chops are a plus

If you think you’ll fit in here, great. But we don’t just want you to fit in, we want you to expand our capabilities and our thinking. We want you to come to the table with a different way to get the job done, or a new technology that you don’t know but will figure out overnight, or a programming solution we might not have thought of. Your previous experience and education are great, and we'd like to know about all of it, but it's not everything to us. Prove that you're a fun person with an incredible skill set as described above and the job is (probably) yours.

DESIGNER

You've got a couple of years experience in a design studio or agency (or you can prove to us you are a rock-star designer and have the mind & skills to match the attitude). You're fun and easy-going but driven and willing to go the extra mile on a job. You've got a great visual sense and have a vast understanding of web interface design. You can animate in Flash, too. Those are the must-haves.

A plus would be the ability to build out a front end design in XHTML and CSS. Some stuff that'd be cool but not absolutely necessary would be 3D experience, other programming experience, video and more advanced animation skills. If you have skills that we didn't list here, let us know that too! Ultimately, though, we really just want a fantastic interface designer and animator.

Additionally, you're not afraid to talk to clients or pitch your work. If a new program comes out, you're all about learning the new features. Above all, you're an eager learner who wants to be part of a team of great designers and programmers. If you think you'll fit in here, great. But we don't just want you to fit in, we want you to expand our capabilities and our thinking. We want you to come to the table with a different way to get the job done, or a new technology that you don't know but will figure out overnight, or a design that doesn't look like ours but is just as good (or better).

Oh, and you should also be able to multitask on many different projects, answer the phone and sound coherent, work on extremely tight deadlines and shower regularly.
