Raka recently launched a fun, new online application for IDEXX that allows visitors to upload a photo of themselves and friends, crop their heads in the photo and place them on illustrated bodies of ticks. The website, aimed at veterinarians and with a goal of increasing knowledge of ticks, gives a playful face to a serious problem. Visitors can email, print or save the resulting image and create as many as they would like.

Raka launched a new tool for Freedom Fertility Pharmacy that allows them to update their pharmacy’s fertility medication price list through a content management system, and then see the quotes that customers can put together using the tool. With advanced technology allowing coupons to appear when certain price points are hit in the quote, and the ability to filter quotes in various ways on the back-end, the tool instantly became a hit on their website and has been one of the top destinations for customers when they are researching Freedom.

Working with Liberty Mutual, Raka designed, developed and animated an interactive online game where users play as “Hope the Fish”, swimming through a tank collecting points and eating words to help put an end to hopelessness through charitable giving. Meant as an internal game for Liberty employees, the application seeks to get everyone involved in giving back; and having a little fun while they’re at it!

Raka designed and developed a website and application for Practically Green that helps visitors figure out how environmentally conscious they are, determine the next steps in “greening up” their lives, find products and services that experts and friends trust, and stay motivated to keep improving.
