Dragon NaturallySpeaking “What’s New” Demo

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 recently came out, and Raka helped the launch by designing, animating and developing a demo of the new features that makes version 11 an easy decision for those thinking about updating or buying the powerful software for the first time. Raka developed the demo by walking viewers through the software’s features in a combined technique of using real screenshots of the software, and illustrations to make the points clear. With voiceover guiding the timeline, the finished piece helps tell the story behind why Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 is faster, better and smarter. Check out the demo here!

Turbana Plantain Chips Website Launched

Turbana Plantain Chips Website Designed and Developed By RakaRaka recently launched a new website for Turbana, one of the leading importers of bananas, exotics and pineapples, and the number-one importer of Fair Trade bananas and plantains in North America. We designed and developed this website for their plantain chips in Flash for a fun and engaging user experience. Keeping things light and playful, we built on their new brand and character “Max Platanicious” and created a colorful and bouncy site that introduces visitors to the delicious snack well-known in many countries outside of the United States. With this new launch, Turbana is set to bring plantain chips to the American public as a healthier alternative to potato chips. View the Turbana Plantain Chips website here!

Site Launches and Animations

Things are heating up despite the weather getting colder than it was in January! Recently, we’ve launched animated banners for Analog Devices, DuPont, Hood and Rosenberger’s Dairies. We also launched a website with VIA called Kick Start Maine (funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation), aimed at getting kids thinking about college sooner rather than later. We also created an animated online contest for Heluva Good. We delivered an animated tutorial presentation to Heinemann Publishing and launched a new website for United Staging & Rigging, as well as a revised version of Vigilant’s 3D wine cellar design application. We created a CD-ROM version of the successful Freedom MedTEACH application that we designed for Freedom Fertility Pharmacy and Serono. We’re continuing to work with Brandeis University, the Franklin Pierce Law Center, PromoCentric, the VIA Group and others and will have new portfolio pieces to show off soon! Happy Spring!
